● No, the funds do not come with technical services or coaching
What can the loan be used for?
● Hiring employees with specific skills and expertise
● Building capacity to secure and win contracts procured. Which may include:
○ Purchasing equipment, technology
○ Building HR system
How long do I have to use the Forgivable Loan?
● 12 Months
Does the Forgivable loan need to be forgiven?
● Yes, at the end of term after obligations and reporting requirements are completed. If not, all funds or funds not used must be return to the Center for Economic Inclusion.
● Each business obligation and reporting requirements will vary depending on the type of business and will be determined before the contract is signed in partnership with the finalist.
